Wicked Pizza & Cat Rice 🈯️
Welcome to Secret Breakfast / The best place to set up a fabulous grazing board, reserve the best chef's table and refuse having meals served in a slapdash fashion
Hi there!
Sprints have become the heartbeat of many contemporary companies — intense, time-boxed pushes that force focus, collaboration, and rapid delivery.
I’m at the end of a (long) sprint that should have brought the simple reward of a job well done, but then life sort of kicked me in the ass and spoiled the victory lap.
Now I’m hunting for fresh inspiration: trying my hand at a very different kind of writing, picking up Japanese again, and reading things I wouldn’t normally choose.
We could say - with unjustified pretentiousness - that I'm refurbishing the palace of the mind.
When times are hard, looking outward and sampling new tastes — new projects, languages, or genres — somehow gives me the strength to face the less pleasant things.
Is it the same for you? What do you do then?
Piero
PS: next issue will be on December 10th.
PPS: hey, you, American friends, Happy Thanksgiving!
